Become a Member!

Are you interested in archaeology or history?  We are always open to new members who wish to help with projects or just get together with like-minded people!  As a member of our chapter you'll get to work in the field with professional archaeologists doing excavation, survey, lab work, research, and more.  You'll also have the opportunity to participate in the official Archaeological Society of Virginia Certification Program.  The Certification Program operates on a statewide level and trains avocational archaeologists in the skills needed to reach the level of field and lab technician.  If this sounds like something you'd be interested click the join button below to get started!

All of our meetings are open to the pubic.  If you're interested in joining feel free to attend one of our meetings.   They are held every third Monday at 6:30pm at 5357 Main Street in Stephens City, Virginia.  Our entrance is in the back as is parking in the grass.  You can access the back by going down Fairfax St and turning onto Germain St.

*Please note that you must join the main Archaeological Society of Virginia in order to join our chapter.
